China’s highway charging volume for new energy vehicles reached 163 million kilowatt-hours during the 7-day National Day holiday this year, up 51.42 percent year on year.
The data shows that more Chinese families choose electric vehicles for long-distance road trips. China has built the world’s largest highway charging network.
Up to now, China’s NEV ownership has hit 48.97 million. Nearly half of newly registered cars in China are electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles. More charging stations are being built in cities and along expressways to cut range anxiety for EV drivers.
