China is developing V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technology. It allows electric cars to send electricity back to the power grid when needed.
By 2030, the adjustable charging capacity from V2G in China is expected to reach 50 million kilowatts. Millions of EVs will form a huge network of mobile power storage.
This technology helps balance power supply during peak hours. When electricity demand is high, EV owners can sell stored battery power back to the grid. Experts believe V2G will become an important part of China’s future clean energy system.
